Author Guidelines

Qawãnïn (Journal of Economic Syaria Law) (P-ISSN: 2598-3156, E-ISSN: 2622-8661) is published twice a year since 2017 (May and Nopember), is a multilingual (Indonesia, Arabic, and English). This journal is published by Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Kediri. Qawãnïn accepts research-based articles on English, Indonesia, Arabic languages which have not been previously published, nor is it under review or consideration for book chapter or journal publication elsewhere. Manuscripts submitted to Qawãnïn (Journal of Economic Syaria Law) should conform the following guidelines:

1. Manuscript and File Type
          Manuscript should be written in multiple-spaced at 1,5 using essay style academic English on A4 paper (with 2,5 cm from all margins) in Microsoft Word program (.doc, .docx, or .rtf), in size 12Pt of Times New Roman Font, and on 4000-7500 words in length excluding title, abstract, keywords, and references.

2. Manuscript format

  • Abstract

          Abstract must be written in English and Indonesian, Italics, using 12 size Book Times New Roman, single-spaced. Insert an abstract of 85-250 words, giving a brief account of the most relevant aspects of the paper. The abstract of research paper should contain the purposes, methodology, and findings of the study.

          Keywords:  first keyword, second keyword, third keyword, fourth keyword, fifth keywords

  • INTRODUCTION

          Here, provide an adequate background to show the gap of the research. The section headings are arranged by alphabet, bold and 12pt Times New Roman, 1.5 spacing. Paragraphs shall be 1.5 spaced with indent.

  • LITERATURE REVIEW

          Provide an adequate review of literature. The section headings are arranged by alphabet, bold and 12pt, Times New Roman, 1.5 spacing. Paragraphs shall be 1.5 spaced with indent.

  • METHOD

          The Research Methods section describes in detail how the study was conducted. A complete description of the methods used enables the reader to evaluate the appropriateness of the research methodology.

          The Participants/Subject/Population and Sample used in the study should be stated.

          What, how, to whom the instruments used in the study should be explained. How the data was analyzed in the study should be described.

  • FINDING

          In the Findings section, summarize the collected data and the analysis performed on those data relevant to the issue that is to follow. The Findings should be clear and concise. It should be written objectively and factually, and without expressing personal opinion. It includes numbers, tables, and figures (e.g., charts and graphs).

  • DISCUSSION

          This section should explore the significance of the results of the study. A combined Findings and Discussion section is also appropriate. This section allows you to offer your interpretation and explain the meaning of your results. Emphasize any theoretical or practical consequences of the results.

          The Discussion section should be a reasoned and justifiable commentary on the importance of your findings. This section states why the problem is important; what larger issues and what propositions are confirmed or disconfirmed by the extrapolation of these findings to such overarching issues.

          Add verses of al-Qur'anHadithIjma’ or Qiyas to support the author's argument.

  • CONCLUSION

          The main conclusions of the study should be presented in a short Conclusions section. Do not repeat earlier sections.

  • REFERENCES

          Chicago Manual of Style (Full-Note)

For submissions to issues published from 2021 onwards, Qawanin uses the Chicago Manual of Style (Full-note) in the References at the end of the manuscript. Cite only items that you have read and written on footnotes. Please use Reference Manager Applications like EndNote, Mendeley, Zotero, etc. Use other published articles in the same journal as models. All publications cited in the text should be included in the References section and arranged alphabetically.
